BOSTON – Suffolk men's hockey takes its talents to Vacation Land this weekend for the Bowdoin Colby Classic. The Rams will face Bowdoin in Brunswick, Maine Saturday, Nov. 25, before battling Colby in Waterville, Maine. Both contests are scheduled for 4 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk men's hockey took an early edge it held onto for most of the game, but a last-second strike by No. 11 University of New England tied the game at 1-all and forced overtime where the Nor'Easters netted the game winner to take down the Rams, 2-1, in Commonwealth Coast Conference play at Harold Alfond Forum Saturday night.

SUFFOLK SCORES

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk looks to snap a six-game skid that put the Rams are 1-7-0 on the year.  

Devin Lowe paces the Rams' 18-goal offense with nine points on three goals and six assists. Joe O'Brien has six handouts to his credit as well and sits second on the squad with seven points. Nick Liotino rounds out the top three in scoring with three goals and two handouts.  

In net, Kannon Flageolle (4.03 GAA, .896 save %) and Chris Jackson (5.57 GAA, .823 save%) have split time.  

POLAR BEAR POINTS
Bowdoin lifted the lid on its scheduled last weekend. The Polar Bears fell in overtime to Williams, 3-2, and took down Middlebury in OT, 4-3, to bring a 1-1-0 record into Saturday's meeting.  

Both Patrick Callahn and Nate Clark have three points apiece to lead Bowdoin's six-goal offense. Callahan owns two goals and one assist, while Clark has contributed three assists himself.

Alex Kozic has played both games in net for the Polar Bears. He brings a 2.92 GAA and .895 save % into the weekend.

Colby is unbeaten on the year after pulling the curtain back on its year with a scoreless overtime draw against Middlebury and a 4-2 triumph against Williams last weekend.  

Ryan Doolin's two points, both on assists, sit atop the squad in points. Jayden Grier, Henry Molson, Will Molson and James Tepper are responsible for the Mules goals with one each. 

Andy Beran has defended in between the posts in both games for Colby. He sports a .96 GAA and a .965 save percentage. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk and Colby will renew a rivalry, meeting for the fourth time overall and first since Dec. 1, 2023, a 6-3 Rams loss.
