BOSTON – Suffolk men's hockey is in store for a full weekend of Commonwealth Coast Conference contests as the Rams will face No. 15 Curry in a home-and-home series. The nationally ranked Colonels stop by Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink Friday, Nov. 10 for a 5 p.m. puck drop before the foes skate in a rematch on Saturday, Nov. 11 in Canton, Massachusetts, at 7 p.m.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk sits 1-3-0 on the season and 0-2-0 versus CCC counterparts. The Rams lone win of the year came via a 7-5 decision over Salem State Oct. 28.  

Devin Lowe leads the blue-and-gold's offensive output with seven points behind a team-best three goals and four assists. Joe O'Brien has set-up a squad-best five shots to sit second on the team with six points. Carter Schramrounds out the top trio of point providers with a four-point stat line evenly divided between goals (2) and assists (2).  

Kannon Flageolle (4.43 GAA, .875 save%) and Chris Jackson (10.34 GAA, .725 save%) have split time in between the post for Suffolk. 

COLONELS CATCHUP
Curry brings in a 1-1-1 overall mark and 1-1-0 CCC ledger after splitting its home-and-home series with then-No. 7 Endicott a week ago.  

The Colonels have poured in nine goals over their three games. Gage Dill leads the way with four points on one goal and three assists. Matt Connor has also set-up three scores, while Tao Ishizuka and Taurin Haddon-Harris have both found the back of the net twice. 

Roland Polasek has started all three games for Curry in net. He holds a 4.37 GAA and .864 save percentage. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Since the 1999-2000 season, Suffolk trails the all-time series with Curry, 5-32-3. 
  • Suffolk looks to snap a six-game skid versus the Colonels and defeat Curry for the first time since a 3-2 decision Nov. 14, 2015. 
  • At home, the Rams are 3-12-2 versus Curry. 
  • On the road, Suffolk owns a 2-19-1 record against the Colonels.

SUFFOLK'S SCHEDULE
The Rams wrap up action before Thanksgiving with a home-and-home series against the No. 9 University of New England Nov. 17-18. Suffolk will first host the Nor'Easters on Friday at 5 p.m., before trekking to Biddeford, Maine Saturday for a 7 p.m. puck drop.
