SALUTE THE TROOPS
Suffolk men's and women's hockey will skate in honor of those who have and are serving the armed forces with Military Appreciation Games this weekend when the Rams host Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) foe Western New England Golden Bears at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink

Ram Nation's Salute to the Troops begins with the men's contest Friday, Jan. 27 at 6:00 p.m., with the recognition contests set to wrap up with the women's action Saturday, Jan. 28 at 4:50 p.m.

Both Suffolk squads will wear special-edition military jerseys during pre-game skate and in the CCC contests. Ram Nation has a chance to take home a piece of Suffolk history by purchasing the game-worn jersey for $100. The proceeds of the sales will benefit 22Mohawks, an organization to reduce suicide rates among veterans created by Suffolk men's cross country alum and former Army Staff Sergeant David Campisano, BSBA '19.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk looks to snap a three-game skid that put the Rams at 5-10-2 on the year and 3-9-1 in CCC play.

Ryan Webb's 12 points power the Rams' 32-goal offense. The freshman forward has four goals and eight assists to his credit. Griffin Clark sits second on the squad with eight points evenly divided between goals and assists with Ryan Harrigan (4g, 3a) and Devin Lowe (3g, 4a) each sporting seven-point stat lines that mirror one another.

Cal Wilcox is the usual goalie for the Rams. In 16 games played, he has assembled a 3.10 GAA and .905 save percentage.

GET TO KNOW THE GOLDEN BEARS
Western New England split its CCC weekend with Wentworth last weekend, falling to the Leopards 7-4, before defeating WIT, 5-1, to skate into the weekend 6-10-1 overall and 4-8-1 in CCC.

Shane Miller (5g, 14a), Kyle Knight (8g, 8a) and Matt Dougherty (5g, 10a) are the top threats offensively for the Golden Bears' 49-goal offense.

In net, Colten Lancaster has taken on the bulk of the work with 15 games played. In that span, the senior has built a 3.82 GAA and .889 save percentage.

WE MEET AGAIN
Griffin Clark leveled the playing field with 1:52 left in regulation and Suffolk men's hockey held the Golden Bears of Western New England in overtime to force the 1-1 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) draw Friday, Dec. 3 at the Olympia Ice Center. Cole Scott was the only player to produce a goal in the three-round shootout to send the Rams into the semester break with an extra point in the league standings.
