SUFFOLK SCORES

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk coupled back-to-back wins together for the first time this season to bring a 3-7-2 overall record into the weekend. The Rams return to CCC contests after a month away for its conference calendar. The last time the blue-and-gold skated versus a league foe was Dec. 9 when it tied Western New England, 1-1, and picked up the extra point with a 1-0, three-round shootout win. The stalemate with the Golden Bears put the Rams at 1-7-1 in CCC action.

Ryan Webb is on the verge of double figure points to top Suffolk's 25-goal offense. The freshman forward's team-high nine points are behind three strikes and a squad-best six set-ups. Griffin Clark is right on Webb's heels with seven points with four goals, which sit atop the team, and three handouts. Four different skaters, Phil Decresce (2g, 3a), Ryan Harrigan (2g, 3a), Devin Lowe (1g, 4a) and Max Rand (2g, 3a), all share third on the team with five points apiece.

Cal Wilcox has held down the netminding role for the Rams. In his 11 games played, all starts, he has assembled a 3.07 GAA and .908 save percentage.

LEOPARDS LOOK
Wentworth put down Potsdam, 4-3, Saturday, Jan. 7, at the Comfort Inn Complex Winter Classic, to move to 3-9-1 on the year. In CCC contests, the Leopards sport a 1-7-1 league ledger.

Jacob Shankar leads WIT's 29-goal offense with nine points on three goals and six handouts. Five skaters share second on the squad with six points apiece in Josh Faussett (2g, 4a), Nolan Lowe (4g, 2a), Nikolas Sombrowski (3g, 3a), George Weiner (1g, 5a) and Ian Worthley (2g, 4a).

Jack McGovern and Will Oliver have split the bulk of the workload in between the pipes. McGovern holds a 3.87 GAA and .878 save percentage in his eight appearances with a 2-4-0 mark, while Oliver boasts a 3.95 GAA and .905 save percentage in his six games played, all starts, with a 1-4-1 record.
