Endicott Shutouts Men’s Hockey, 3-0

BEVERLY, Mass. – Suffolk men's hockey was kept off the scoreboard by Endicott Tuesday night, while the Gulls lit the lamp three times to defeat the Rams, 3-0, in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) outing at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After a scoreless first frame that Suffolk outshot Endicott, 10-9, the Gulls put away three pucks over a 1:25 span in the middle period to build a 3-0 advantage.  

The Rams offense never got going and was limited to just five shots on target total over the second and third periods, respectively, which allowed the host to take the league victory.

NETMINDER NOTES

  • Cal Wilcox registered 32 saves in the setback. 
  • Conor O'Brien stopped all 15 shots he faced.  

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING

  • Endicott outshot the Rams, 35-15. 
  • The Gulls won face-offs as well, 33-24. 
  • Neither team gave up a power play goal.
