2021-22 SUFFOLK MEN'S HOCKEY ROSTER
BOSTON – Head coach Chris Glionna brought in 11 additions to help boost the Rams roster as Suffolk men's hockey transitions back to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) in 2021-22. The group, comprised of features nine true freshmen and a pair of transfers, will add five new options at the blue line, four forwards and new netminder in Casen Janko.
"We are excited about this year's newcomers to our family," Glionna said. "It is a great mix of freshman and transfers who all have one thing in common, they are hungry. I expect our compete level in practice to be much higher this year, which will lead to success on and off ice the ice."
Junior Pat Lavin and sophomore Jared Newell, who started their collegiate careers at Nichols and Becker, respectively, will add more experienced depth to a team that brings back 19 skaters from a year ago, while the nine real rookies – Sergi Anisimov, Gus Butler, James Clarke, Phil Decresce, PJ Donahue, Janko, Troy Ladka, Joe Lizotte and Connor Thomas – will be relied on right away to help the blue-and-gold in the competitive CCC.
Suffolk is set to make its 2021-22 debut Friday, Oct. 29 when it entertains Franklin Park at Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink at 7 p.m.
