  • Curry Stalls Men’s Hockey, 2-1, in CCC Quarterfinals

    The Suffolk men’s hockey’s team’s 2021-22 season ended Saturday night as Curry poured in two unanswered goals spread out over the second and third periods, respectively, for the fourth-seeded Colonels to setback the fifth-seeded Rams, 2-1, at the Canton Ice House.

    The Suffolk men’s hockey team has made its way back to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) postseason after four seasons away. The fifth-seeded Rams make the trip to Canton, Massachusetts, Saturday, Feb. 26 to take on fourth-seed Curry at the Canton Ice Den at 5 p.m.

    Joe Feeney of the Suffolk men’s hockey team wrapped up his time in a blue-and-gold sweater as the 2022 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Scholar-Athlete, the league announced as part of the All-CCC teams Thursday.
  • Wilcox Voted Ram of the Week

    Ram of the Week’s 21st edition for 2021-22 came following the conclusion of the regular-season for four Suffolk Athletics’ winter teams. The competition featured four student-athletes from four different programs and Ram Nation made its voice heard with 71 votes cast on the Twitter Poll.
  • Wilcox Grabs CCC Goaltender of the Week

    Cal Wilcox of the Suffolk men’s hockey team earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Goaltender of the Week after a solid two-game outing in between the pipes for the Rams, the league office unveiled Monday. Wilcox notched a .943 save percentage in the two-game weekend scattered over the games.

    Suffolk men’s hockey closed out its regular-season in winning fashion as the Rams took down Wentworth, 3-1, Saturday night at Emmons Horrigan O’Neil Memorial Rink. The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) outing served as the Rams’ Senior Night. 
  • No. 15 Endicott, Wentworth Close Men’s Hockey’s Regular-Season

    Suffolk men’s hockey wraps up its regular-season with Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action against No. 15 Endicott and Wentworth Feb. 18-19. The Rams will travel to the nationally ranked Gulls Friday before hosting the Leopards at Emmons Horrigan O’Neil Memorial Rink Saturday. Both conference clashes have 7 p.m. starts with the regular-season finale in Charlestown Saturday serving as Suffolk’s Senior Night.
  • Wilcox Stands Tall, Men’s Hockey Falls at No. 15 Endicott in Road Finale, 5-3

    Suffolk men’s hockey came out on the wrong side of a 5-3 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) decision to No. 15 Endicott at Raymond J. Bourque Arena despite a stand-up 65-save effort by junior Cal Wilcox. Special teams played a major factor Friday night with all, but one goal put away on the power play or penalty kill.
