PORTSMOUTH, R.I. – Suffolk men's golf wrapped up its 2023-24 season with a fourth-place performance at the two-day RWU Invitational. The event was played at the Green Valley Country Club Sunday and The Aquidneck Club Monday.
The Rams shot a 629 to take fourth in the eight-team field that was topped by Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) counterpart Hartford with a 593. Roger Williams, the host, slid into second with a 616.
Cameron Sinopoli made the msot of his last collegaite outing as the senior shared eighth. After day one he sat in a share of 17th with a 79. On two two he shot a 72 to finish with a two-day card of 151, good for a share of eighth overall.
Jake Zirlin, meanwhile, was four strokes behind Cameron Sinopoli to tie for 12th.
Vijay Sakuru's 158 was good for a share of 18th.
Ryan Mollica and Christopher Sinpoli rounded out the Rams on the course. The former shot a 171 to claim a share of 44th and the latter's 172 was good for 46th.
