BIDDEFORD, Maine – With impending inclement weather set to strike the New England region on Thursday, Sept. 22, the Commonwealth Coast Conference has been proactive and rescheduled its 2022 Men's Golf CCC Qualifier.
The league's eight teams will now converge at the Green Valley Country Club in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, to play for a spot in the 2023 CCC Championship Thursday, Sept. 29. The 18-hole event will start at 11:30 a.m. The top four teams at the fall qualifier punch their tickets to the 36-hole CCC Golf Championship set for this spring, that will be hosted by the top qualifying team. The victor of the two-day championship will be crowned the 2023 CCC Golf Champion and earn the conference's automatic bid into the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship.
To prep for the CCC Qualifier, Suffolk will take its talents to Brunswick, Maine, this weekend, Sept. 24-25, for the Bowdoin Invitational at the Brunswick Golf Club.
