WARWICK, R.I. – The Suffolk men's golf team took the course at the 2017 RIC Spring Invitational April 14 as part of the Spring Series with the second leg hosted by Rhode Island College. The Rams finished 10th on the course at the Valley Country Club. 

The Rams put together a 353 team score at the event to finish 10th. Western New England captured the title thanks to a score of 300 with second-place finisher and tournament host Rhode Island falling just two strikes shy at 302. 

Dan Caissie led the Rams individual, tying for 28th with a card of 83 and a plus-11. Elias Sachs, Owen Boggini and Andrew Harper took 41st through 43rd, respectively, with Demetri Stamoulis rounding out the Rams' competitions in 45th. 

Suffolk concludes its spring season April 22-23 at the Wildcats Spring Invitational.
