BEVERLY, Mass. – Down one with less than 10 seconds on the clock, Evan Cook connected with Keenan Robertson for an alley-up that hit the bottom of the net with four seconds left in regulation to send Suffolk men's basketball past Endicott, 70-69, Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference action at MacDonald Gymnasium. 

The win was not only Suffolk's fourth in a row, but marked the first time in program history that the Rams took down the Gulls in Beverly, Massachusetts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Out of a 39-all half a one possession game was present until Endicott scored eight unanswered to put the Rams in a nine-point, 53-45 hole at the 13:21 mark. 

Just about three minutes later, Devin Dzikas knocked down a trifecta to spark a 9-0 Suffolk stretch that evened things at 60-all with just under seven minutes left on the clock. Dzikas was responsible for five points in that run.  

Hoop-for-hoop played out the rest of the way with Robertson's hero hoop coming with four seconds left. 

Endicott had a chance to grab the game as Jalen Echevarria threw up a trey as time expired, but the hail mary was off the mark. 

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING

• Danny Yardemian led Suffolk's offensive output with a 24-point performance behind a 9-for-13 showing from the floor. He went 6-for-6 at the line. He added four steals, two boards and one block. 
• Robertson registered 16 points on a 6-for-15 showing from the field. He was one board shy of a double-double and dished out two dimes. 
• Cook finished with 14 points, four caroms and three helpers. 
• The Rams shot 42.9 percent (27-63) from the field, 14.3 percent (2-14) from 3-point range and did not miss at the charity stripe (14-14). 
• The Rams outrebounded the Gulls, 37-32. 
• 60 percent (42-70) of Suffolk's offense came in the paint. 
• Suffolk converted Endicott's 13 turnovers into 20 points. 

NOTEWORTHY

• Suffolk stretched its win streak to four games, a season-best. 
• The Rams leveled the all-time series with Endicott at 5-5. 
• Suffolk defeated Endicott on the road for the first time in program history. 
• Yardemain produced a career-high 24 points and made a personal-best six free throws. He matched ap personal-best field goals made and shot 69.2 percent (9-13) from the floor for the second straight game.

Suffolk takes its win streak back to Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court Wednesday, Jan. 31 for a midweek tangle with Western New England at 7:30 p.m.
