HOW IT HAPPENED
The first of seven first half triples came from Cook 2:27 into the action that gave Suffolk its first lead of the day. LeVangie's first long ball, meanwhile, tied the playing field at 12 with just under five minutes removed from the clock.

After see-saw action, Cook's second hoop from 3-point land ignited an 13-5 Rams run that sent Suffolk in front, 25-19 at the 11:19 mark.

The Hawks made it a one-point gap, 31-30, with 8:28 to go before halftime before a Cook jumper started a 12-0 stretch that sent Suffolk to a comfortable, 42-30 cushion.

Over the final six minutes of the opening half, the Rams outscored RWU, 11-7, to take a 53-37 lead into the break.

The teams went hoop-for-hoop throughout the first 10 minutes of the second half, which kept Suffolk in front, 69-55.

Nate Lopes hit a 3-pointer, the first of three straight Hawks hoops from downtown to make it a two-possession, 69-64 game, with 8:29 remaining.

Jeff Juron used a timeout to stop RWU's scoring frenzy and the huddle helped as see-saw action consumed the rest of the action with Suffolk on top, 89-78.
