BOSTON – Already with two wins under its belt this week, Suffolk men's basketball looks to take that momentum into Saturday's Jan. 6 Commonwealth Coast Conference showdown with Wentworth. Tip-off at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court is scheduled for 3 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Danny Yardemian and Keenan Robertson commanded the Suffolk men's basketball team to a scrappy 84-74 Commonwealth Coast Conference win over the University of New England Thursday night at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court. The duo had a hand in 75 percent of the Rams 28 field goals made and scored 46.4 percent of the blue-and-gold's offensive output.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has coupled back-to-back wins together to sit 6-5 on the year and 3-2 in CCC action.  

The trio of Evan Cook (16.8 ppg), Keenan Robertson (15.6 ppg) and Danny Yardemian (13.0 ppg) pace Suffolk's 75.6 ppg offense.  

Robertson and Yardemian provide a one-two punch on the boards for the Rams. The former grabs a team-best 6.5 rpg with the latter pitching in 5.3 rpg. 

LEOPARDS LOOK
Wentworth has fallen in four straight games to bring a 5-7 overall record and 1-3 CCC mark into Saturday's action.  

Three starters produce double figures in scoring to lead Leopards 73.7 ppg offensive output in Tyler Stewart (19.5 ppg), Jack Connell (18.2 ppg) and Sam Goy (14.5 ppg). 

Stewart sits atop the team on the boards as well with 8.8 rpg to his credit. Goy pitches in 6.0 rpg to WIT's 36.9 rpg effort.  

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk is 11-9 all-time against Wentworth. 
  • The Rams look to take down the Leopards for the first time since a 65-58 decision Jan. 3, 2023.
