BOSTON – Suffolk men's basketball looks to keep its winning ways going Friday, Nov. 17 as the Rams welcome Tufts to Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off.

In front of a standing room only crowd at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court, Suffolk men's basketball took down Colby Sawyer, 68-52, Wednesday night to lift the lid on its home schedule in the win column.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has put together back-to-back victories to start the season 2-0 for the second time in as many years. The Rams took down Eastern Nazarene, 68-54, in the season opener, before defeating Colby sawyer, 68-52, in the home debut two days ago.  

The Rams offense has put up 68 points in each of their outings. Graduate students Evan Cook and Danny Yardemian power the offensive output as the pair averages double figures in 23.0 ppg and 14.5 ppg, respectively. Cole LeVangie is on the double-digit cusp with 9.0 ppg to his credit, while Jake Gomez and Keenan Robertsoneach supply 8.0 ppg. 

On the glass, the blue-and-gold is out rebounding its foes by 7.0 rpg. Robertson's 8.5 rpg leads the way with Yardemian (7.5 rpg) and Gomez (7.0 rpg) right on his heels.  

JUMBO JISTS
Tufts, who is receiving votes in the latest d3hoops.com poll, sits 2-0 on the year after defeating Endicott, 78-63, and Emerson, 72-53. 

Scott Gyimesi's averages a double-double of 16.5 ppg and 16.0 rpg to lead the way on both ends of the hardwood for the Jumbos. James Morakis also scores 16.5 ppg with Khai Champion (10.5 ppg) and Jon Medley (10.0 ppg) producing double digits in scoring as well.  Joshua Bernstein joins Gyimesi with double figures on the glass as he grabs 11.0 rpg. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk and Tufts will tangle for the 38th time Friday.
