BOSTON – Suffolk men's basketball takes its talents to Gordon Saturday, Jan. 14 for a 3:00 p.m. Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest.

Suffolk men's basketball climbed out of a double figure deficit to take down Commonwealth Coast Conference foe Salve Regina, 72-67, Tuesday night at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Thanks to its thrilling 72-67 comeback over Salve Regina, Suffolk carries an 8-6 overall record and 3-4 CCC mark into Saturday's showdown.  

The quartet of Keenan Robertson (18.0 ppg), Aidan Sullivan (12.6 ppg), Cole LeVangie (12.2 ppg) and William Rowe (11.9 ppg) continue to pace the Rams' 75.9 points per game offensive output.  

Robertson leads the way on the glass as well with 7.3 rpg to his credit. Rowe and LeVangie provide 6.2 rpg and 6.1 rpg, respectively, to the blue-and-gold's 39.9 rpg effort. 

GET TO KNOW THE FIGHTING SCOTS
Gordon has fallen in four in a row to sit at 6-8 on the season and 2-5 in CCC affairs.  

Garrett Sattazahn and Michael Makiej provided a one-two punch on the offensive end with 20.4 ppg and 19.4 ppg, respectively. Bryce Smith adds 13.1 ppg to the Fighting Scots' 81.1 ppg scoring.  

Defensively, Makiej paces the team with 7.3 rpg. Caleb Scott pulls down 6.5 rpg and Smith supplies 4.3 rpg. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • The Suffolk, Gordon dates back to 1967-68.
  • Suffolk is 13-7 all-time against the Fighting Scots. 
  • Prior to 1977, the location of the contests between the Rams and Fighting Scots is unknown. In those meetings and in the 1981 battle, Suffolk is 5-5.
