BOSTON – After one game away, Suffolk men's basketball is back in the friendly confines of Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 23 with a cross city battle against Emerson at 7 p.m.

SUFFOLK ATHLETICS 2021-22 FAN POLICY
Suffolk University Athletics, following guidance from the University's health and safety protocols, Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), Centers for Disease Control and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, plans to allow fans to attend home athletic contests during the 2021-22 academic and athletic year.

Fans, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, can attend games. They must be masked the entire time they are on campus, pursuant to institutional policy, and complete a health screening form at the security desk of each building upon arrival. This policy applies to home contests played on campus at the Ridgeway Building's Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court, as well as the Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink and the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

For outdoor outings, specifically at East Boston Memorial Park, fans are asked to respect COVID safety protocols. At this time, masks will not be mandated for fans no matter vaccinated status at outdoor venues.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk men's basketball cruised past Framingham State, 83-55, Saturday afternoon at the Athletic Complex.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has strung back-to-back wins together to move to 3-1 on the year. The victories including a 90-81 stunner over then-No. 11 Tufts and an 83-55 triumph at Framingham State. 

Nate Hale's 18.3 points per game production paces the Rams' 82.8 ppg offensive output that sees quartet of student-athletes in double figures. Aidan Sullivan's 12.0 ppg is good for second on the squad with John Gates and William Rowe supplying 11.8 ppg and 10.3 ppg, respectively. 

Defensively, Keenan Robertson and Rowe both grab 5.8 rpg to lead Suffolk's 39.8 rpg effort. Cole LeVangie chips in 4.3 rpg.

LIONS LOOK
Emerson dropped in season debut, but has coupled a pair of win together including a 90-71 decision over Emmanuel Saturday to bring a 2-1 record to Ridgeway. All three of the Lions games have taken place on their home court with Tuesday's tilt being the team's first true road test of 2021-22. 

Similar to Suffolk, Emerson has four different players provide double figures in scoring led by Zach Waterhouse's 18.0 ppg. Jarred Houston is right on the senior guard's heels with 17.3 ppg with Nate Martin (13.3) and Max Davis (11.7) rounding out the foursome. 

Houston holds 13.7 rpg to average a double-double and led the Lions on the glass. Ben Allen grabs 6.0 rpg to be a consistent contributor to Emerson's 39.3 rpg effort.

INSIDE THE SERIES

• Suffolk trails the all-time series with its Boston neighbor, 8-31.
• The Rams are 4-14 when hosting the Lions on their home court.
• Suffolk looks to snap a six-game skid against Emerson and not only pick up its first win over the Lions under Jeff Juron's guidance, but first since an 85-50 triumph Jan. 4, 2014.
