BOSTON -  The Suffolk men's basketball team will be back in the friendly confines of Regan Gymnasium this weekend when it faces Norwich in a Saturday, Jan. 26 showdown. Game time is set for 2 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk men's basketball team's six-game win streak came to a halt Tuesday night as the Rams fell to Regis, 63-59, in GNAC action at Higgins Court.

RAMS RUNDOWN
The end of Suffolk's six-game win streak put the blue-and-gold at 11-6 on the season and 2-1 in conference competition. 

Five different student-athletes provide double figure points for Suffolk's 77.2 ppg offense, which converts at a 45.3 connection rate from the floor. Thomas Duffy's 14.4 ppg leads the way with Michael Hagopian'S 13.2 ppg and Brendan Mulson's 12.4 ppg contributing to the effort as well. Alex Jacovides (10.7 ppg) and Steven DiPrizio complete the top five scorers with 10.7 ppg and 10.0 ppg, respectively.  

DiPrizio's 6.7 rpg anchors the Rams' 37.3 rpg effort. Duffy (5.0 rpg) and Mulson (4.9) add to the effort on the glass also.

CADETS CATCHUP
Norwich has been set-back in seven straight games, to sit 6-12 on the season. The Cadets remain winless in league action and head into the weekend 0-5 versus conference competition. 

Jesse Davis' 14.5 ppg anchors Norwich's 68.6 ppg. Christopher Bryant and Kyle Booth are consistent contributors on both ends of the hardwood. Bryant provides 10.7 ppg and 9.0 rpg, while Booth tallies 10.4 ppg and 6.8 rpg.

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk swept Norwich in the two-game regular-season meetings a year ago to chip away at the Cadets' all-time series lead, which sits at 24-19.

WHAT'S NEXT?
Suffolk will trek to Standish, Maine, Wednesday, Jan. 30 for a midweek 7 p.m. match at Saint Joseph's (Maine).
