RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk rides a three-game win streak into the week that put the Rams at 11-4 on the season and 2-0 versus CCC counterparts.

The Rams 139-run offense has been powered by 148 hits. The trio of Harry Painter (24 H, 19 RBI, 18 R), Garret Roberts (21 H, 12 RBI, 18 R) and Jonny Gilbride (20 H, 23 RBI, 20 R) lead the blue-and-gold bats.

Suffolk's staff has had four days to rest and prep for the hectic stretch. All starters – Roberts (4 APP, 21.0 IP, 8.14 ERA, 18 Ks), Pierce Salbego (4 APP, 25.0 IP, 5.04 ERA, 26 Ks), Brett Bucklin (5 APP, 18.2 IP, 2.41 ERA, 14 Ks), TJ Dimitriou (4 APP, 10.2 IP, 7 Ks) and Painter ( 1 APP, 5.0 IP, 5.40 ERA, 6 Ks) – should be expected to make an appearance sometime this week, while relievers Ian Maude (3.0 IP, 3.00 ERA, 4 K), Patrick Desmond (11.2 IP, 3.09 ERA, 17 Ks) and John McDevitt (3.60 ERA, 10.0 IP, 8 Ks) will likely be called in from the pen.

GET TO KNOW THE GULLS
Endicott (13-1, 2-0 CCC) emerged as the top team on the d3Baseball.com list last week and remained there in the latest edition of the poll. Like Suffolk, the Gulls have rattled off three wins in a row including back-to-back convincing triumphs over Western New England (12-2, 11-3).

Brendan O'Neil has proven to be the biggest threat at the dish with 20 hits on a .357 connection rate with 16 RBI and 12 runs scored. Danny MacDougall has brought in a team-best 20 runs on 18 hits to go along with a squad-high 17 runs scored. TJ Liponis rounds out the top trio offensively with 18 hits, nine RBI and 12 runs scored.

The Gulls have played two games over the last three days and flew home from Florida during that stretch as well. Three of their usual starters John Connolly (23.0 IP, 3.13 ERA, 26 Ks), Nicholas Cannata (13.0 IP, 4.15 ERA, 13 Ks) and Brady Stuart (15.2 IP, 3.45 ERA, 22 Ks) all saw time against Western New England yesterday. Jordan Gottesman (22.2 IP, 1.59 ERA, 31 Ks), meanwhile, took the hill three days ago, which leaves Charlie Hale as the freshest arm for Endicott. Hale has fanned 17 batters over 12.2 innings in three appearances, two starts and boasts an Endicott-staff best 1.42 ERA.
