LASERS LOOK
Lasell jump started its 2024 campaign in sweeping fashion as the Lasers flew past Fisher in a twinbill Monday, Feb. 26. The decisions came via 6-1 and 8-7.

Bryan Baumann had an offensive outburst in the first two games of the year. The senior outfielder went 5-for-8 with one bomb for a team-best four RBI. Tim Callahan (4-8), Brad Edwards (3-7) and Connor Freitas (3-8) had over three hits in the doubleheader as well with Callahan and Freitas knocking one double apiece. Edwards appears to be the biggest threat on the base paths with two swiped bags.

Matthew Fletcher and Jeremy Blackwood earned the nods against Fisher. Fletcher proved to be more successful with 5.0 scoreless innings with just two hits and two walks allowed and five strikeouts. Overall, the Lasers used eight arms in the first two games, all of whom are upperclassmen.
