    Suffolk baseball spends its weekend at East Boston Memorial Park as Curry and Anna Maria are set to stop by for doubleheaders. The Rams will first host the Colonels in a Commonwealth Coast Conference clash Saturday, April 27 before welcoming the AMCATs Sunday, April 28.

    For the second time in as many weeks Harry Painter of the Suffolk baseball team earned a weekly award from the Commonwealth Coast Conference office as he was named CCC Player of the Week after anchoring the Rams at the plate in a 4-1 week in which the blue-and-gold outscored its opponents 58-23, the league office unveiled Tuesday.

The Rams will head to Gordon Tuesday, April 9 for a Commonwealth Coast Conference nine-inning tilt, before battling UMass Boston in a home-and-home series the next two days. Suffolk will host the Beacons in Eastie Wednesday, April 10, before the rematch at the Beacons’ home field Thursday, April 11. All three games have 3:00 p.m. first pitches.

The Corsairs took advantage of Rams' relievers to come back and used a bases loaded hit by pitch in the bottom of the seventh to walk-off the win.
