2022 ABCA/RAWLINGS NCAA DIVISION III ALL-REGION TEAM

BOSTON – For the first time since 2017, multiple student-athletes from Suffolk baseball were recognized with all-region accolades from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and Rawlings recognized Harry Painter and Luke Harder for their stand up 2022 seasons.

Painter, who added his second all-region accolade to his resume with a first-team D3baseball.com nod earlier today, was selected to the first-team by the ABCA/Rawlings, as well, while Harder's first collegiate all-region spot was a selection to the third-team.

ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First-Team selections are nominated for ABCA/Rawlings All-America honors, which will be announced Thursday, June 2. The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now includes nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school.

The duo was productive at the plate for Suffolk in a season in which it made its second CCC postseason push in as many years in the league and helped the Rams win their first CCC playoff game in program history.

A total of 48 players from 18 different programs were recognized on Region 2's three teams. The blue-and-gold pair was two of 17 CCC student-athletes on the list.

Suffolk has 31 NEIBA/ABCA/Rawlings all-region honors dating back to 2000 with at least one Ram taking home the feat each season that it was handed out dating back to 2016.
