RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk wrapped up the regular-season 22-8 and 6-10 against CCC counterparts.

The Rams offense has scored 334 runs this season. Harry Painter and Joe Ward provide a one-two punch at the plate as the pair has brought in 44 runs apiece. The former is hitting .411/.473/.767 with a team-best 60 hits, including 26 extra-base knocks with a dozen doubles and homers, respectively, to go along with 38 runs scored. Ward, meanwhile, has 49 hits behind a .304 average with 40 runs scored. Luke Harder has brought in 40 runs also behind 56 hits on a .368 connection rate with 32 runs scored.

Suffolk has relied on multiple arms to get to this point of the season. EJ Birch (25.0 IP, 17 K, 3.24 ERA) and Nick Reiser (50.1 IP, 4.29 ERA, 44 K) have been the most reliable starters for the Rams this season. Casey Sullivan (35.0 IP, 5.40 ERA, 29 K) is a dependable option on the mound for the blue-and-gold as well.

FIGHTING SCOTS FACTS
Gordon split its regular-season finale, a doubleheader with Roger Williams, with a 15-13 nightcap upset over the Hawks, to move to 9-26 on the year.

Jonathan McIntyre sits atop the team in hits with 42 behind a squad-best .344 average. Robert Dunkle has brought in a team-high 28 RBI on 32 hits. Shane Demers has contributed 37 hits, 23 RBI and 30 runs scored to the Fighting Scots offense.

Gordon used seven different arms, including all, but one of its usual starts, to get through its two games against RWU Saturday. Andrew Marzetta (35.0 IP, 8.23 ERA, 17 K) or Brandon Bloom (28.2 IP, 10.36 ERA, 12 K), who saw limited action over the weekend, may likely get the nod Monday.
