RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk went 3-4 in its hectic five-day, seven-game stretch to move to 11-9 on the season and 1-4 in CCC outings.

Harry Painter's everyday bat has compiled a slash line of .412/.452/.838. He has 28 hits, 22 RBI and 19 runs scored to his credit. Luke Harder, who is hitting .359, tops the team with 28 hits to go along with 29 RBI and 28 runs scored. Joe Ward is a top threat at the dish as well with 26 hits and a team-best 25 RBI behind a .342 average and 22 runs scored.

Pitching wise, Suffolk's staff has combined for a 6.70 ERA. The Rams will likely start their pitching rotation over since it has played so frequently with Michael Muscarella (18.0 IP, 7.50 ERA, 18 K) and Shawn Nosky (13.2 IP, 7.90 ERA, 17 K) likely to get the nods in the midweek matches.

FIGHITNG SCOTS FACTS
Gordon swept its CCC double feature against Wentworth Saturday to improve to 2-2 in conference contests and 6-15 overall.

The Fighting Scots, who outscored the Leopards, 11-2, in the two-game series have scored 91 runs as a team. Jonathan McIntyre's bat leads the way with hits (24) and average (.364) with the infielder supplying 13 runs and three RBI. Shane Demers (.349, 22 H, 11 RBI, 18 R) and Patrick Tevenan (.315, 17 H, 14 RBI, 8 R) are also averaging over .300 at the plate. Robert Dunkle has plated the most runs for Gordon with 17 RBI to his credit on 15 hits behind a .238 average.

It seems as though Gordon cycled through its top three starters, Jacob Hitchcock (4.81 IP, 24.1 IP, 18 K), Hunter Routhier (5.16 ERA, 22.2 IP, 25 K) and Andrew Marzetta (6.17 ERA, 23.1 IP, 13 Ks) for its twinbill with Wentworth over the weekend. Zack Fay (10.67 ERA, 14.1 IP, 3 K) looks to be in the starting rotation as well, while Daniel Ensign (9.88 ERA, 13.2 IP, 6 K) and Brandon Bloom (7.52 ERA, 20.1 IP, 11 K) may make appearances on the mound also.
