LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk baseball blanked Curry in the first five innings and managed to get three runs on the board prior to the game being called due to heavy rain storms to take a 3-0 shutout win over the Colonels Wednesday afternoon at Jack Vallely Diamond.

RAMS RUNDOWN
The Rams ride a two-game win streak into the weekend action that put them at 8-8 overall and 2-4 in CCC play.

Christian Seariac has the most consistent bats and it has proven to be one of the top contributors as well. The graduate student has assembled a slash line of .513/.578/.769 with 20 hits, including six for extra bases with eight RBI and eight runs scored. Fellow graduate student Tim Brigham has provided a team-high 22 hits, including 10 doubles, with team-high 10 RBI and nine runs scored.

Suffolk will likely return to its starting rotation on the mound for the conference doubleheader Saturday. EJ Birch, who carries a 1.38 ERA with nine punchouts over 13.0 innings, is likely to earn the nod Friday, as well as Steven Rossi (4.22 ERA, 21 Ks, 21.1 IP). Parker Browne (4.98 ERA, 14 Ks, 21.2 IP) and Michael Muscarella (5.31 ERA, 16 Ks, 20.1 IP) will probably go on Saturday.

FIGHTING SCOTS FACTS
Gordon fell to Wentworth, 8-7, Wednesday to dip to 6-12 on the year. In conference contests, the Fighting Scots are 3-7.

Connor Hartman brings in a team-high in hits (21) and runs scored (17) with 11 RBI to his name as well. Shane Demers, who is batting .364, has 16 hits, a team-best 15 RBI and 15 runs scored. Dalton Cody has added 17 hits, 13 runs scored and six RBI.

The Fighting Scots' staff has compiled a 7.53 ERA. Joe Pedulla has been the most impressive on the mound with a 3-1 record over five appearances, all starts, with a 1.20 ERA and a squad-best 33 strikeouts. Andrew Marzetta (5.12 ERA, 19.1 IP, 10 Ks), Mark Gadaleta (5.79 ERA, 23.1 IP, 12 Ks) and Charlie Perdue (9.24 ERA, 12.2 IP, 7 Ks) will potentially start for Gordon over the series.
