Event: Your Voice is Your Superpower Reporting, Resources & Rallying

BOSTON – Suffolk University students are encouraged to gather for a "Your Voice is Your Superpower Reporting, Resources & Rallying" seminar Thursday, April 25 in Sargent Hall Room 235 at 12:15 p.m. The seminar will be led by Mya Kermelewicz, Relationship Coach and founder of MK Prevention Services.

Kermelewicz, who visited Ram Nation for her Intro to Empowerment in 2022-23, aims to change lives of many through educating on and preventing sexual assault in communities. Through experiencing unhealthy relationships and dating violence beginning a young age, Kermelewicz has learned the importance of education for prevention. She firmly believes that we cannot ignore difficult conversations, but instead, we need to embrace them and encourage students to have a voice. Her goal in life is to lower dating violence and sexual assault statistics, creating campuses where students stand empowered, knowledgeable and safe. She wants to empower others to empower themselves, and everyone else around them.

Questions regarding the event can be directed to Tia (Tuyet) Fioravanti, Senior Administrative Associate of the University's Office of Title IX.
