268 Rams Named to AD Honor Roll Fall 2023

FALL 2023 AD HONOR ROLL | FALL 2023 4.0 CLUB 

BOSTON – A record number of Rams earned a place on the AD Honor Roll and the 4.0 Club in one of the most successful fall semesters in Suffolk University Athletic History.  

To be recognized on the AD Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade point average of at least 3.0 and have full-time student status in the semester, except for graduating players in their last semester at the institution. For the complete list of AD Honor Roll recipients, click here.

With the largest student-athlete body to date in the University's 70-plus-year athletic history with 335 individuals enrolled while also on the roster of one of the blue-and-gold's 19-varsity sport teams' 80 percent (268) achieved over a 3.0 in the class throughout the fall of 2023. As a department, student-athletes combined for a 3.430 semester GPA, one of the highest in recent history. 

When broken down, 56 percent (187) of student-athletes achieved a spot on the Dean's List with a 3.5 GPA or greater and 35 percent (118) earned a 3.75 GPA or greater. More impressive, 38 individuals achieved a perfect 4.0 throughout the semester including two-sport athletes Ellie Davis (women's cross country/track & field), Sydney Fogg (women's cross country/track & field), Hayden Green, (men's cross country/track & field), Amy Pattelena (women's cross country/track & field), and Brady Sorensen (men's soccer/track & field). In the team race, women's sports squads proved to be superior to men's take the top six spots in team GPAs for the semester. Women's golf led the way with 3.780 in the fall of 2023 with women's tennis following in a close second with a 3.679 and women's soccer's 3.614 rounding out the top three. Softball (3.559) and women's volleyball (3.555) round out the department's top five team GPAs.
