234 Rams Named to AD Honor Roll for Fall 2022

2022 FALL AD HONOR ROLL | 2022 FALL 4.0 CLUB

BOSTON – A total of 234 Suffolk University student-athletes have been named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for their academic achievements in the 2022 Fall semester. 

To earn a spot on the AD's honor Roll a student-athlete must earn a grade-point average of at least 3.0 and pass at least 12 quarter units, with the exception of graduating seniors in their final semesters. For the complete list of AD Honor Roll recipients, click here

In the Rams' record books, the 234 honorees rank the second-most since the Suffolk AD Honor Roll was introduced in the Spring of 2013. It comes behind the 259 individuals who achieved the feat in the Fall of 2021, which tops the semester list for most all-time of the 20 semesters that the recognition has been awarded. 

 The 316 student-athletes enrolled in class this fall representing the University's 19 varsity intercollegiate teams combined for a 3.340 overall GPA with 74.0 percent (234) earning a 3.0 GPA or higher. When broken down further, 48.0 percent (153) of Ram Nation etched their name on the Dean's List with a 3.5 GPA or greater and 32.0 percent (102) earned a 3.75 GPA or greater.

Four of the Rams who put together an unblemished GPA for the fall of 2022 compete for a pair of Suffolk teams in Alicia Bibi, captain of the women's soccer team and member of the women's track & field team, Lily O'Neil, netminder for the women's hockey team and one of the newest members of the softball squad, Savannah Goddeerisand Kely Maloney, who participated on the cross country and track & field teams for their respective genders. 

In the team race, Janet Maguire's softball squad boasted the top mark of all squads for the 2022 fall semester at 3.695. All 19 Rams rosters achieved at least a 3.0 GPA with six student-athletes putting together a perfect semester in the classroom in Catherine CariganAlly CifarattaCaitlin MurphyJulia Newcomb, O'Neil and Rebecca Zellin.  

Shawn McEachern's men's hockey's team attained the highest GPA of the men's teams with a 3.539 mark. All, but five Rams on the men's hockey's 28-player roster grabbed a 3.0 GPA or greater.
