Feel the Power of Yoga December 5

REGISTER 

BOSTON - Take a break and join us on Monday, Dec. 5 for a relaxing yoga class at the Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court located in the basement of the Ridgeway Building. Everyone is invited! Meditation and breathing exercises will also be included. To register, please click here. Yoga mats will be available to the first 70 registered participants.

Please wear comfortable clothes and bring water, along with any yoga props you enjoy using.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Laura Golitko is the Assistant Director for Wellness at Suffolk Counseling, Health and Wellness. She received her 200-hour yoga certification from the Kripalu Yoga Center in 2018. Laura specializes in recovery yoga for athletes, gentle yoga, and vinyasa yoga. As a former pole vaulter in high school and college and current distance runner, Laura enjoys using yoga as a way to unwind, stretch, and clear the mind. She also teaches various mindfulness techniques, such as body scans, deep breathing exercises, and progressive muscle relaxation.

Elemental Yoga
Weekly on Tuesdays at 3:30pm in the Interfaith Center in Sawyer 823 through Nov 15, 2022.

Our practice focuses on the five elements and keeps a regular and ritual simplicity. Following an easy-going slow flow, we'll practice basic pranayama breathing techniques. Ideal for beginners and enthusiasts alike!   

Guided Meditation
Weekly on Mondays at 3:00 p.m. in the Interfaith Center in Sawyer 823 through Dec 5, 2022.

Join for a time of contemplation as you hear a contemplative text and are guided on a journey.
