Track & Field Sees 39 Earn GNAC All-Academic Team

WINTHROP, Mass. – Suffolk men's and women's indoor track & field programs saw their student-athletes award for their academic accomplishments with spots the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Academic Team, the league office announced Tuesday. The men's program had 20 honorees, while the women's squad saw 19 student-athletes pick up the feat to be a part of a league-record 1,274 student-athletes selected. 

To qualify, a student-athlete must be in their second year of academic status (sophomore or above), maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.00 scale during the 2021-22 academic year, with each eligible player having to compete in at least one full season of a GNAC sponsored sport.
