BOSTON – With playoff positions on the line, Rams have stepped up their performances as of late and it showed in this week's Ram of the Week voting on Twitter.
AND THE WINNER IS ….
John Garrity of the Suffolk men's hockey team earned the weekly recognition after picking up 49 percent of the 136 votes cast. The recognition comes after he produced three points in a 1-1-1 week for the Rams.

The senior forward from Dublin, California, opened the week with one goal in a 4-2 victory over Western New England. He had a hand in the team's 1-1 draw against Salve Regina before matching a career-high two-point performance with one goal and one assist at Curry.
Garrity is the second member of Suffolk men's hockey to collect the department's player of the week this year as Samuel Rand was voted into the honor Nov. 29.
RAMS RUNNER-UPS
2ND – 29% - AMANDA DEANGELIS – WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Amanda DeAngelis led Suffolk women's basketball to a 3-0 week with 14.0 ppg and 8.7 rpg. The sophomore started the week with an 18-point, eight-rebound, eight-steal effort in a 61-53 win at Gordon. The Londonderry, New Hampshire, followed that with 11 points eight caroms in a 76-41 triumph at Wentworth. She wrapped up the week with her third double-double of the year a 13-point, x-rebound outing in a 78-78 win over Salve Regina.
3RD – 18% - JULIA VOLPE – WOMEN'S HOCKEY
Julia Volpe found the back of the net in each of Suffolk's games to help the Rams to a 1-1-0 week.
4TH – 4% - MATYAS CSIKI-FEJER – MEN'S INDOOR TRACK & FIELD
Matyas Csiki-Fejer clocked the seventh-best 3000 time in NCAA Division III this season of 8:12.57, at the Boston University's Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invite where the senior face competition from every NCAA division including opponents from Stanford, Harvard and Georgetown.
