BOSTON – This week's Ram of the Week voting via a Twitter Poll featured just two student-athletes one from the Suffolk men's and women's hockey teams, respectively, as the Rams both upset the nationally-ranked Gulls Friday, Jan. 28. 

AND THE WINNER IS … 

Lily O'Neil of the Suffolk women's hockey team collected 73 percent of the 55 votes cast to garner the Ram of the Week title. The sophomore netminder backstopped Suffolk to a 4-3 comeback victory with a 47-save performance at Endicott. 

She is the fifth Ram from the women's hockey program to earn the department's weekly recognition as Sofia Scilipoti, Jesse Kennedy, Maddy Burton all picked up the feat once, while Shana Cote has two such honors.

RAMS RUNNER-UPS 

2ND – 27 % - SAMUEL RAND – MEN'S HOCKEY

Samuel Rand of the men's hockey team put away three goals in a 1-0-1 week. He started with a career-high two goal effort in a 4-4 draw at Western New England, before putting the Rams on the board in their 3-2 upset win over then-No. 14 Endicott.
