BOSTON – Ram Nation voted on Ram of the Week one last time via Twitter Poll in 2021 for the performances of Suffolk student-athletes from Dec. 6-12.
AND THE WINNER IS …
Maddy Burton of the Suffolk women's hockey team collected 41.8 percent of the 79 votes cast to pick up Ram of the Week title. The accolade comes after Burton was a crucial ingredient to the Rams' 4-3 overtime win at Trinity Dec. 11. The graduate student forward scored back-to-back goals in a 3:28 span in the third period to even the score and force an extra session. Burton set-up the game-winner put away by Madison Duff that lifted Suffolk to victory.
