Kennedy Notches Ram of the Week

BOSTON – Week 12 of Ram of the Week voting for the 2021-22 Suffolk Athletics season declared the best performer with votes casted on Twitter in a sizable win for the student-athlete that was crowned over the seven-day stretch.

AND THE WINNER IS …

For the third time in four weeks, the Ram of the Week comes from Suffolk women's hockey as Jesse Kennedy earned 52.3 percent of the 107 votes cast to earn her top spot of the week. The senior led the Rams in scoring with four points in a 2-0-0 weekend with one goal and three assists.

Kennedy found the back of the net for the game-winning goal in the Rams' 3-2 comeback win against the University of New England on Friday, Nov. 19. She assisted on Suffolk's first two goals that helped tie up the contest in the third period. She returned to the point column the next day with an assist on the game-winning goal in Suffolk's 4-1 victory over the Nor'easters to help the blue-and-gold remain unbeaten on the year thus far, 8-0-0.
