Rodrigues Named Ram of the Week

Rodrigues Named Ram of the Week

BOSTON – Suffolk saw six of its eight fall teams in action and Ram Nation had the chance to determine the standout student-athlete of Sept. 6-13 via a Twitter Poll in the second edition of Ram of the Week of 2021-22.

AND THE WINNER IS …

Allison Rodrigues earned 71 percent of the over 50 votes cast to pick up Ram of the Week accolades.

The senior netminder is the second Suffolk women's soccer to player to earn the feat following the 2021-22 inaugural honoree freshman Lily Christian.

Rodrigues compiled a 1.00 goals against average and a .875 save percentage in a 1-1-0 week in goal. Her victory came behind a seven-save performance against Lesley Saturday, Sept. 11. She backstopped the Rams to a 2-0 victory, the program's first-ever triumph over the Lynx.

Saturday's shutout was her third of the season and 14th in her collegiate career, which sits second all-time in the Rams' record books.
