It was an honor to be part of the Suffolk tennis program for the past six years. I have a personal connection with this program. When I was in high school, I often go to the tennis matches and root for my brother to win. During this time, I felt connected to the other players and coaches. I thought to myself it would be a wonderful experience to join my brother for his final season and be a Suffolk Ram.

When COVID-19 came and canceled two tennis seasons, I was determined to bring the tennis program back which meant a lot to me and the other players in the past. The program was officially back when I was a senior.

I was fortunate to play an additional two seasons following my graduation by pursuing pre-medicine.

As the seasons come and go, I meet a lot of great men on the team with long-lasting friendships.

As a three-year captain, I often led by example and made myself available to my teammates with any advice or need. I felt obligated to myself as captain to make this program the best it could be because it’s more than just a program to me.

I was happy to see the steps the program has taken under my leadership with great help from my teammates and coaches.

As I continue my journey to become successful by improving each day away from Suffolk, I hope my legacy in this program will be a forever-lasting one. As I believe every action I took was the best for the team and program. I hope the program will continue to improve for the future players ahead.
