Manfra Garners Fourth GNAC Runner of the Week

WINTHROP, Mass. – Suffolk women's cross country's Emily Manfra collected her fourth GNAC Runner of the Week status after her standout NCAA Division III New England Regional performance, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

Manfra has picked up the weekly nod in each of the weeks she has competed. The four such honors in one season is the most by a student-athlete in the conference since Saint Joseph's (Maine)'s Amber Dostie hit that number in 2014 . Overall, the Stoneham, Massachusetts' weekly award haul includes nine weekly league awards: seven runner of the week and a pair of rookie of the years over her four-year career.

The senior captain picked up her fourth recognition after producing a 14th-place finish against her regional counterparts. Her total time of 21:57.3 topped the GNAC competition on the 6K course as well.

Manfra will close out her storied cross country career this weekend in Louisville, Kentucky, at the 2019 NCAA Division III National Championships.
