Volleyball to Lace Up for Pediatric Cancer Saturday, Sept. 28

BOSTON – This Saturday, Sept. 28, the Suffolk volleyball team will Lace Up For Pediatric Cancer as the Rams host Norwich and Western New England in a tri-match at the Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court. The Rams will be lacing up their sneakers in gold for the pair of awareness contests.

Suffolk is partnering with the Go4TheGoal Foundation, an organization that raises funds to help fight pediatric cancer and support the families affected by the disease. Every year in the United States, 15,000 kids are diagnosed with cancer. Go4TheGoal and Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer works with hospitals across the country to provide financial assistance, grant wishes, develop and fund unique hospital programs and innovative research. The Rams will be collecting dontations throughout the tri-match. Can't make it to the Ridgeway Building this Saturday, contact Suffolk's Assistant coach Sarah Hollis to contribute. 

First serve is set for 11 a.m. with Suffolk tangling against Norwich with the Rams wrapping up the day at 3 p.m. against WNE. 

Prior to Suffolk's awareness outings, the Rams will take their talents to Wentworth tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 24. The Beantown battle with the Leopards is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
