BOSTON – The Suffolk volleyball team closes its 2015 season Thursday night as the Rams stop by Smith at 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT

The Suffolk volleyball team suffered a straight set decision in its GNAC regular season finale Tuesday night, falling at Johnson & Wales at the Wildcat Center. The defeat came by set scores of 25-17, 25-13 and 25-20. 

Bridget Allison recorded seven kills, four aces and three digs to lead Suffolk. Talia Lombardo added six kills, five assists, four digs, one ace and one block, with Liz Kerek chipping in 15 assists and two digs.

RUN DOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk's (7-20) offense has been held down by Chidera Nwankwo (1.79 kps) and Bridget Allison (1.76 kps). Talia Lombardo contributes on both sides of the net as the sophomore leads the Rams' defense (3.01 kps) and adds 1.55 kps to the offense. Liz Kerek has commanded Suffolk's offense with 4.24 aps. 

PROWL ON THE PIONEERS
Smith ended a nine-match skid Tuesday night as the Pioneers took down Mount Holyoke 3-1 t- move to 5-21. 

Macarena Rojas' 1.71 pace the Pioneers with Mei-Li Smith (1.59 kps) and Elizabeth Peay (1.44 kps) adding to the offense. Smith (3.96 aps) and Rojas (2.22 aps) have also split time as Smith's setter. Julie Voorhes is the Pioneers defensive threat, posting 4.83 dps.
