RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk raises the curtain on the 2015 volleyball season and its first under the guidance of Bonny Ducharme as head coach Wednesday night. The Rams, which will be playing away from home for the first six matches of the season, went 8-22 a year ago and 3-8 in GNAC play.

Suffolk's top offensive output from a year ago returns in sophomore Jane Buckley, who contributed 1.65 kps . Caitlyn Mockler will take the court for her final season in blue-and-gold after posting 1.46 dps, while Liz Kerek also returns after providing 1.54 dps in 2014.

FACTS ON THE FIGHTING SCOTS
Gordon opens its second season under head coach Sue Kelly Wednesday night versus the Rams. Under Kelly, the Fighting Scots made a post-season push for the first time since 2010 after posting a 14-14 overall mark and going 2-6 against CCC opponents.

Maggie Risma returns as a junior following a dominant defensive season as the libero's 5.47 dps finished inside the NCAA's top 50. On the other side of the net, Gordon will have to fill the shoes of its top attackers and setter from its post-season team a year ago. Jessica Burdick, who contributed 1.76 kps, will be looked upon as the offensive's veteran.

OPENING ACT
Suffolk is 4-8 in season-opening matches in the past 12 seasons. Looking to snap a two-match losing skid on opening day, the Rams' last victory on the first day of the season came by way of a 3-2 decision versus Mitchell at Gordon's Invitational in 2012.

PACING THE SIDELINES
Bonny Ducharme
takes over the Rams volleyball program in 2015 as the new head coach. She has spent the past decade at Dig Deep Volleyball, a year-round, volleyball skills clinic with dual responsibilities as coach and owner.
