BOSTON – For the first time in program history, Suffolk indoor track & field has a chance to compete for a conference title as the Rams head to the inaugural GNAC Championship Sunday, Feb. 16. The day-long event will be held at Boston University's Track & Tennis Center with field events starting at 11 a.m.

Suffolk men's indoor track & field took its talents to the Granite State Saturday to compete at Plymouth State's Panther Invitational. The Rams finished 10th in a field of 11 with 17 points, which featured five GNAC programs.

Suffolk women's indoor track & field participated at the Panther Invitational, hosted by Plymouth State, over the weekend. The Rams finished 13th in a field of 14 with nine team points, which featured five GNAC programs.

Suffolk has a number of top performances in multiple events going into Sunday.
On the men's side the Rams have the best performance in eight events, while the women have topped their conference counterparts in six events.

REGIONAL RAMS
So far, six Rams – four women and two men – have sealed their spots at New Englands.
Emily Manfra has the most tickets punched with four in the 800, mile, 3K and 5K with her senior co-captain Emma Weisse joining her in the 3K and mile. Matyas Csiki-Fejer earned his place in multiple events as well; mile, 1,000 and 3K. Mariama Kamara is Suffolk's lone sprinter in the 60-meter dash, while Allison Rodrigues (shot put) and Michael Balestra (weight throw) will represent the Rams' field athletes.

Suffolk will head to the USATF New England Open Championships Sunday, Feb. 23 at Harvard's Gordon Indoor Track.
