Indoor Track & Field Took Course at Panther Invitational

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Over the weekend, representatives of Suffolk men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed for the Rams at the Panther Invitational hosted by Plymouth State. 

Dakhensey Marcellus took the 60M course for the first time in her career. The freshman from Brockton, Massachusetts native's time of 8.90 was good for 14th in the field of 25. 

Aspen Andrew, meanwhile, competed for the first time in her career. The junior was a part of the 21 person field of the shotput and finished with a 9.02M through to place 11th. 

In the mile, Suffolk had two Rams running in Natalie Fay and Michelle Kearney. The freshman and senor finished one right after another for 14th and 15th respectively. Fay crossed the tape in 6:41.02 with Kearney completing the course in 6:43.27. 

Mary Lucy Dunleavy competed in both the shot put and the weight throw. The freshman, who calls Winchester, Massachusetts, home, tossed the shotput 7.82M and put together a 7.27 M weight throw. 

On the men's side, Matthew Sambuceti was the lone Ram to compete and did so in the weight throw with a 9.01M heave. 

Suffolk is back in action this upcoming weekend as it heads to Tufts-Gantcher Field House for the Tufts Stampede and Multi.
