Women’s Soccer Trio Grabs United Soccer Coaches All-Region

2025 United Soccer Coaches Division III All-Region Teams

BOSTON – For the first time since 2021, Suffolk women's soccer is back on the United Soccer Coaches All-Region II Team, as three Rams, Avery PorterSinclaire Hart, and Arden Rose, earned recognition following a historic 2025 campaign, the national organization announced Tuesday morning.

Porter and Hart claimed spots on the second team, while Rose represented the blue-and-gold on the third team. The trio is built up of first-time honorees as they become the first Suffolk student-athletes honored since Allison Rodrigues '22Grace Owens '25, and Hayley Long '23 accomplished the feat four seasons ago. The three selections tie the program record for most all-region honorees in a single year, matching that 2021 group.

The defensive core of Porter, Hart, and Rose played a central role in Suffolk's 10-3-6 showing, including a 4-3-3 Conference of New England (CNE) ledger. The Rams produced the fifth double-digit win season in program history and established a new single-season record with 13 shutouts, powering Suffolk to its first postseason appearance since 2023.

That defensive strength carried into the playoffs, where the sixth-seeded Rams took down third-seeded Johnson & Wales 2-1 in the opening round before battling second-seed Endicott to a scoreless draw in the semifinals. A 4-3 decision in penalties ultimately ended Suffolk's run one match shy of the conference championship.

Porter's first all-region selection rounds out a decorated junior campaign in which she became the first Ram since 2021 to be named to the CNE First-Team. The Portland, Oregon, native anchored Suffolk's back four, while contributing four goals and one assist. Porter continues to build one of the most accomplished careers of the program's CNE era and became the first Ram with three or more all-league accolades since Meghan McHale '14 achieved the feat from 2009 to 2013.

Hart secured the first all-region honor of her career, complementing her Second-Team All-CNE selection. The Keswick, Virginia, product provided two assists during an impressive sophomore campaign and served as the Rams' holding midfielder as she dictated tempo and provided critical protection in front of the backline.

Rose's nod caps a standout rookie season in which the Fremont, California, native tied the single-season program record with nine shutouts, matching Melissa Brouillette's '15 2011 mark. She finished the year with a 6-2-5 record, a 0.45 goals against average, 54 saves, and a .900 save percentage. Her nine clean sheets already rank fourth all-time in Suffolk history, and she became just the second Ram goalkeeper ever to receive all-conference recognition.

The CNE was highlighted by 19 student-athletes on the all-region list, with Suffolk one of three programs to feature three honorees alongside the University of New England and Endicott, while Hartford led the way with four selections. Johnson & Wales and Gordon each had two, and Western New England and Roger Williams picked up one apiece.
