Women’s Hockey to Host Special Olympics Game January 25

BOSTON – Suffolk women's hockey will skate for Special Olympics Saturday, Jan. 25 when the Rams entertain Boston and NEHC rival UMass Boston at the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Rink.

Suffolk's second awareness game will bring awareness and raise funds for the Massachusetts Special Olympics with a ceremonial puck drop featuring Special Olympians will precede the 5:30 p.m. conference clash.

The Rams will rep red, white and blue jerseys with the Special Olympics logo. A donation box will be on site and fans are encouraged to give a $5 admission to the cause.

Special Olympics is spreading inclusion to every town, every city, every school, every workplace, every community in Massachusetts. The athletes, coaches and volunteers of Special Olympics Massachusetts are changing the way the world sees individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Leading up to the game, Suffolk took the ice in Eastie with Special Olympic Athletes November 19.
