    Suffolk women’s hockey head coach Taylor Wasylk has been named one of 11 finalist for the CCM/AHCA NCAA Division III Women’s Ice Hockey Coach of the Year Award, the organization announced Wednesday night.
  • Women’s Hockey’s Adams Signs with NWHL’s Connecticut Whale

    Tess Adams of the Suffolk women’s hockey team signed a contract to continue her hockey career with the National Women’s Hockey League’s Connecticut Whale and is expected to make her pro-debut this afternoon, Sunday, Feb. 24.  
  • UMass Boston Upsets Women’s Hockey, 2-1, in NEHC Quarterfinals

    The second-seeded Suffolk women’s hockey team saw its inaugural season come to an early end as the seventh-seed Beacons of UMass Boston surprised the Rams with an early 2-1 lead it never let go of to defeat the blue-and-gold Saturday night at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Rink.

    The New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Quarterfinals pits second-seeded Suffolk women’s hockey against seventh-seeded UMass Boston Saturday, Feb. 16. The Rams welcome the Beacons to Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop.
  • Plymouth State Spoils Women’s Hockey’s Regular-Season Finale, 3-2

    A Plymouth State power play goal with less than five minutes remaining broke a 2-all tie and proved to be the difference as Suffolk women’s hockey could not rally and fell to the Panthers, 3-2, Saturday afternoon in its regular-season closer at Hanaway Rink.

  • Women’s Hockey’s Closes Regular Season with NEC, at Plymouth State

    The first regular-season of Suffolk women’s hockey comes to a close this weekend as the Rams entertain New England College and stop by Plymouth State. The Rams first welcome the Pilgrims to Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink Friday, Feb. 8 at 8 p.m., before making the trip to the Panthers the next day, Saturday, Feb. 9 for a 2 p.m. showdown.
  • No. 8/5 Norwich Keeps Women’s Hockey Quiet, 4-0, in Autism Awareness Game

    On a night Suffolk women’s hockey was playing for Autism Awareness, the No. 8/5 Norwich Cadets held the Rams off the scoreboard to down the blue-and-gold 4-0 in NEHC action at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.  
  • Women’s Hockey Skates to 2-2 Tie at Southern Maine

    Suffolk women’s hockey could not break open a 2-all second-period tie despite outshooting Southern Maine 15-6 over the third period and extra session resulting in a 2-2 NEHC draw Friday night at USM Ice Arena.

The Rams are set for a trip to Southern Maine Friday, Feb. 1 at 4 p.m., before it entertains No. 8/5 Norwich the following day, Saturday, Feb. 2 in an Autism Awareness game at 7:30 p.m.

    The Suffolk women’s hockey turns its attention to New England Hockey Conference competition and is set for a full-weekend of league play when Castleton and Salem State stop by Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink. The Spartans stop by Friday, Jan. 18 for a 6 p.m. matchup with the Vikings set to visit Saturday, Jan. 19 for a 7:30 p.m. showdown.
