| view in landscape for a better experience |

rams return to the green for their fourth season in 2019

Our goal is simple this year, win the Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) and go to NCAAs -- Jay Parker, head coach

COACH'S CORNER

Jay Parker has been the one and only head coach of Suffolk women's golf since the program began in 2016-17 and returns to the helm for his fourth season in 2019.

Parker has led Suffolk to back-to-back NEIGA Titles in 2018 and 2019, respectively. He is the only Suffolk golf coach -- either male or female -- to have a student-athlete garner All-NEIGA honors and has seen five athletes take home nine honors throughout his tenure highlighted by Aine Dillon's individual champion accolade a year ago.

Last season, Parker and Suffolk's success continued as the Rams captured the inaugural Northeast Women's Golf Conference crown behind the inaugural individual champion Nicole Antonucci.

schedule synopsis

Four two-day tournaments make-up the fourth fall Suffolk women's golf calendar.

Schedule is built up of a lot of traveling this season with a trip to Maine and two treks to New York before we defend our two-time NEIGA title
  • SEPT. 21-22 | Husson Tournament | Bangor, Maine
  • SEPT. 28-29 | Cortaca Northeast Invite | Cortland, N.Y.
  • OCT. 5-6 | Colonie Country Club | Voorheesville, N.Y.
  • OCT. 20-21 | NEIGA Championships | Brewster, Mass.

lift the lid

For the second straight season and second time in Suffolk's history, the Rams will tee off in a two-day competition for the first outing of the campaign when the blue-and-gold compete in the Husson Tournament, Sept. 21-22 in Bangor, Maine.

NORTHEAST WOMEN'S GOLF CONFERENCE

Suffolk joined a new independent NCAA Division III women's golf conference, the Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) in April 2019.

Being a founding member of the NWGC will be great for our program to take the next step to NCAAs. There were a number of highly competitive teams already in the mix a year ago with more being added to the league this season

CONFERENCE CONTINGENT

Husson, Johnson & Wales, Keuka, Nazareth, Suffolk, SUNY Canton, SUNY Cortland, St. John Fisher, Utica and Westfield State comprised the making of the inaugural season of the NWGC with Manhattanville joining the ranks in the fall of 2019.

conference crown

Suffolk put an exclamation point on its third season by capturing the inaugural NWGC Championship April 28 at the Tekoa Country Club.

The Rams topped the newly formed independent NCAA DIII women's golf conference's seven team field with a team score of 355, shooting 13 strokes better than runner-up Husson.

Nicole Antonucci anchored the Rams to conference glory with a card of 81 to sit atop the 32 player individual standings to become the first-ever NWGC Individual Champion.

TITLE DEFENSE

Suffolk will have a chance to defend its 2019 NWGC title Oct. 5-6 when it travels outside of Albany to Colonie Country Club in Voorheesville, New York, for the first-ever two-day championship tournament in the league's history.

RAMS ROSTER

Four golfers comprise the 2019 Suffolk women's golf team roster.

Nicole and Brooke are the keys to our season as juniors. We'll be counting on them a lot. Tess Adams is a diamond in the rough; the more she plays, the better she'll be. With all of our player's scores counting this season, Madison will have to step up this year.

GEOGRAPHY 101

Suffolk's 2019 geographic footprint covers three states and Canada.

Brooke Chapman is a Bay State local with Nicole Antonucci hailing from Massachusetts' neighbor to the north, New Hampshire. Madison Scheinberg came to Beanton from Florida with Tess Adams bringing her talents down from Calgary, Alberta.

CLASS CATEGORIES

The Rams are from three different classes at Suffolk with a pair of juniors in Nicole Antonucci and Brooke Chapman, one sophomore, Madison Scheinberg, and one senior Tess Adams.
