BOSTON – The Suffolk women's basketball team will finish off its 2018-19 regular season slate on Saturday, Feb. 17 when it travels to take on GNAC foe Albertus Magnus at the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center with a chance to claim the third seed in the conference tournament. Game time is set for 1 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's basketball team was unable to overcome a strong third quarter from Emmanuel, falling to the Saints 73-63 on Wednesday night at Reagan Gymnasium.

STANDINGS SITUATION
Suffolk enters the final game of the regular-season 9-2 against conference counterparts, which puts the Rams in a tie with Albertus Magnus for third place in the league standings. The winner of Saturday's showdown locks up third with the losing team taking fourth into the upcoming GNAC Tournament.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk dropped its first game in five contests on Wednesday, a 73-63 setback to Emmanuel, to slip to 18-6 on the year and 9-2 in league action.

Jenni-Rose DiCecco has been the Rams staple on the offensive side of the ball, pacing the blue-and-gold's attack with 17.7 ppg and 4.4 apg. The sophomore also plays a key role on the defensive end, providing 5.7 rpg and 2.7 spg.

Allie Lopes has been an added bonus at the semester break. The freshman transfer is third on the team in points with 9.8 ppg and fourth on the glass with 4.1 rpg. Jordan Hipwell adds on both sides of the ball as will with 8.4 ppg and 5.2 rpg. Marissa Gudauskas sparks the offensive output also with 9.3 ppg.

FALCONS FACTS
Albertus Magnus heads into Saturday's contest with a 21-3 record and a 9-2 conference mark after dispatching Johnson & Wales 82-70 Wednesday night.  

The Falcons hold the most powerful offense in the league with 82.1 ppg. The trio of Shyla Osmond (21.1 ppg), Jill Johnson (18.6), and Rah Rah Thompson (15.7 ppg) have paced Albertus Magnus' scoring unit.

Rah Rah Thompson leads the way for the Falcons on the glass as the junior center grabs 13.9 rpg. Andreah Orr (8.0 rpg) and Raegon Shirling-Davis (7.8 rpg) help the Falcons pull down the most boards per game (50.1 rpg) in the league.
