RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk women's basketball is on a roll as of late with the Rams undefeated in the 2017 portion of its schedule to sit at 12-5 overall and 7-1 against conference competition.

The Rams post the third-best offense in the GNAC with 68.7 ppg with a pair of upperclassmen contributing double figures. Georgia Bourikas and Kelsey Schiebel each contribute 10.8 ppg to lead the way with Alexis Hackett contributing 9.2 ppg and Caitlyn Caramello pitching in 8.3 ppg.

Defensively, the Rams pull down the league's best in rebounds in 46.2 per game, including 31.7 boards on the defensive end, which tops the conference. Suffolk's outrebounding its opponents by a 9.0 margin, which also sits atop league counterparts. Katelyn Rourke is the Rams' main ingredient on the glass grabbing 7.5 rpg. Caramello adds 7.1 rpg to the effort with Alexandra Clarke and Hackett adding 6.2 rpg.

MUSTANGS MUST KNOW
Since falling to Suffolk last Saturday (Jan. 14), Mount Ida did not find its winning momentum dropping a contest at St. Joseph (Conn.) (66-60) and falling to Albertus Magnus (87-71) to move to 3-12 overall and 0-7 in league play.

The Mustangs, who are on a six-game skid, receive a 10.2 effort from senior forward Brittany Crosby. She is the lone player for Mt. Ida to register double digits with Katlyn Jesse and Angelique Martinez adding 8.7 ppg and 8.0 ppg, respectively.

Martinez plays big on the glass for the Mustangs with the senior center pulling down the most rebounds per game not just for Mt. Ida, but in the league with 11.8 rpg. Crosby contributes 6.4 rpg to the Mustangs' 42.4 rpg effort.
