BOSTON – For the first time in 2016-17, the Suffolk women's basketball team will play under the roof of Regan Gymnasium Saturday, Dec. 3 when the Rams entertain Framingham State at 1 p.m.

DOUBLE DIP
Suffolk's women's home opener also serves as the Rams' first double feature of the season as the men's squad will tip off its GNAC following the women's contest at 3:15 p.m. versus Saint Joseph's Maine.

ROAD WARRIORS
Suffolk's entire six-game November slate was played on the road, marking the first time since 2002-03 that the Rams played the entire first month of action as the away team. The six contest stretch away from home to open the 2016-17 campaign marks the longest season-opening road trip since 1999-00, when the blue-and-gold played seven straight contests on the road.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's basketball team came up short in its GNAC opener as the Rams slipped to Emmanuel, 75-63, at the Andy Yosinoff Court Thursday night.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk carries a 3-3 mark into Saturday's showdown following a 75-63 setback in its GNAC opener at the conference's perennial powerhouse Emmanuel Thursday night.

The Rams offense is firing on all cylinders putting in 70 points per contest. Every Ram has been a leading contributor this season with seniors Georgia Bourikas and Kelsey Schiebel being the most consistent with 11.7 ppg and 10.2 ppg, respectively. Junior Alexandra Nagri falls just outside the double figure average with 9.8 ppg.

Defensively, Suffolk also shines grabbing 42.8 rebounds per outing. Freshman Katelyn Rourke is the Rams' force on the glass grabbing 7.0 rpg with junior Caitlyn Caramello pulling down 6.8 rpg. 

FACTS ON FRAMINGHAM
Framingham closed out its November slate with a perfect 5-0 record with victories over Curry (75-30), Newbury (94-45), Wheaton (87-63) and Suffolk's GNAC counterparts Lasell (79-32) and Mount Ida (84-44).

The Rams have outscored their opponents by 41 points average, pouring in 83.8 points per contest. A foursome of players average double figures led by junior Quinn O'Connell's 15. ppg. Classmate Raegan Mulherin and senior Alyica Rackliffe tally 12.4 ppg, each, with freshman Mary Kate O'Day rounding out the quartet with 10.2 ppg.

The rebounding margin is not as significant as the offensive output, but is still prominent with Framingham outrebounding its opponents, 3.6 rpg, averaging 45.4 boards per game. Rackliffe paces the Rams with 9.2 rpg. 

THE SERIES
Suffolk is 19-14 all-time versus Framingham State and split its two meetings with FSU last season, winning the first, 68-54, and losing the second, 82-63.
