BOSTON – The Suffolk women's basketball team will close the book on its regular-season home schedule Saturday, Feb. 13 as it welcomes Albertus Magnus to Regan Gymnasium. The Rams will host the Falcons at 1 p.m. on Suffolk's Senior Day.

Suffolk will celebrate the accomplishments of its three graduating seniors – Chelsea Campellone, Katie Murray and Alessandra Quadri. 

DOUBLE DIP
For the sixth and final time this season, the Suffolk basketball teams will take part in a double feature with the women's squad tipping things off at 1 p.m. against Albertus Magnus, before the men's team takes on the Raiders at 3:15 p.m.

In the Rams last doubleheader, the women downed Norwich, 59-49, before the men stormed past the Cadets, 89-59 January 6.

LAST TIME OUT
Trailing 47-38 entering the final 10 minutes of play, the Suffolk women's basketball team outscored Rivier, 23-10, in the final quarter to hand the Raiders a 61-57 GNAC loss Tuesday night inside Regan Gymnasium. 

Kelsey Schiebel was the key ingredient to the Rams' (13-8, 5-3 GNAC) comeback as the junior guard scored nine of her 12 points in the fourth frame. Schiebel shot 4-of-7 from the floor to lead the charge and added three helepers and one carom. Chelsea Campellone continued to be a contributing presence for Suffolk with the senior forward pitching in a game-high 27 points and 15 rebounds for her 10th double-double effort of the season. Caitlyn Caramello also grabbed double-figure boards with 13.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS

• Ten of Suffolk's 13 wins have come at Regan Gymnasium this season and the Rams look to add on that number as it wraps up its home schedule this weekend. Suffolk closes a three-game homestand where the Rams defeated Norwich (59-49) and Rivier (61-57) to improve to 13-9 on the year and 5-3 in the GNAC.   
• A quartet of upperclassmen have been the difference for the Rams on the offensive end of the hardwood with Chelsea Campellone pacing the pack with 15.4 ppg, which lands sixth in the league. The senior boasts the 14th-best shooting percentage from the field (41.9) and has been a consistent threat at the free throw line with a 69.0 (100-145) connection rate. Junior Georgia Bourikas is second on the team with 9.5 ppg, while senior Alessandra Quadri and junior Kelsey Schiebel provide 9.2 and 9.0 points per outing, respectively.
• Defensively the Rams pull down a league-best 47.9 rebounds per game. Campellone leads the way on the glass with the third highest boards per game amongst the GNAC with 10.1. Caitlyn Caramello and Quadri, meanwhile, contribute 7.5 and 6.3 rebounds per contest each.

FACTS ON THE FALCONS

• Albertus Magnus enters Saturday after a 53-48 setback to Norwich Thursday night. At 14-8 overall and 6-3 in the GNAC, the Falcons are currently in fourth place in the league standings.
• The Falcons rank first in the GNAC in scoring offense (72.2) and has allowed the fourth most points (65.1) on the defensive end of the court.
• Olivia Bolden is the Falcons highest scorer this season with the third most points per game with 17.0. She also is eighth in the conference in rebounding (8.6). Liz Falcigno adds 16.4 ppg, which lands 5th in the conference.
• Kelsey Pendagast is Albertus Magnus rebounding leader with 9.1 rpg.

Suffolk wraps up the regular season on the road next week. Suffolk will first stop by Saint Joseph's (Conn.) Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m., before visiting Mount Ida Saturday, Feb. 20 at 1 p.m.
