Junior Britney Payne (Franklin, Ky.) scored nine of her game's 11 points in the second half for the Falcons as she was 4-for-5 from the field in 14 minutes of action in the period. Payne also finished the day with a team-high seven rebounds.

Alongside Santini and Quadri, two other players finished the day in double digits scoring for the Rams. Senior Jennifer Ruys (Wallingford, Conn.) scored 10 of her game's 12 points in the opening 14 minutes of the contest, while freshman Kelsey Schiebel (Windham, N.H.) chipped in with 10 points throughout.

Suffolk got 32 points off their bench in Saturday's victory as sophomores Katie Murray (Holden, Mass.) chipped in with seven points, while Grace Harrigan (Taunton, Mass.) added six points.

Suffolk held a 49-31 advantage in rebounds in the contest with Murray and junior Tori Brillaud (North Andover, Mass.) each finishing with nine a piece.

The loss drops Fitchburg State to a 3-4 overall mark on the season. They'll be back in action on Tuesday evening when they host Mount Ida College at 7:00pm.

Suffolk will now be idle until after the holidays when they hit the court again on January 6th as they travel to Westfield state University for a 5:30pm tipoff.
